Swedish Massage This is a system of long strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints.

Chair Massage/On Site Massage This massage technique is administered while the client is clothed and seated in a specifically designed chair. These chairs may also slope forward allowing access to large muscles of the back. It usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes and is intended to relax and improve circulation. It typically focuses on key tension areas on the back, neck, shoulders and arms.
Trigger Points Also known as Myotherapy or Neuromuscular Therapy. This techniques applies concentrated finger pressure to "Trigger Points" (painful irritated areas in muscles) to break the cycle of spasm and pain.
Reflexology Masssage based around a system of points in the hands and feet thought to correspond, or "reflex", to all areas of the body.

It is called deep tissue, because it also focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.
Lymphatic Massage/Manual Lymph Drainage This massage uses a method for lymphatic drainage involving flat hands using all of the fingers to simulate wave-like movements increasing lymph flow, removing harmful substances from tissues and increasing immune function. It can be useful in cases of edema, sports injury or for people experiencing a sluggish immune system or suffering from a lack of energy.
Reiki This is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that and unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to stay alive and healthy. If ones "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed, and if it is high, then we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
